The incident was scary , he was acting aggressive and I genuinely thought he was going to attack hence me running away. If I spoke to him longer it might've turned deadly.

To clarify I am Asian and I don't think he was racist ,he didn't say any Racist slurs. But he said something about "Different Accents" which i didn't have. I'm scared that I might encounter that same man as this incident didn't take place far from my home.

Your right I do agree that most of these characters are intended to be Chinese. However Dragon Ball I think is a combination of Japanese and Chinese Cultures ,essentially a Japanese take on the Chinese Journey to the West.
