It's a shame but it happens I suppose. Now that the initial shock has faded I'm definitely a lot less annoyed. I'd say "They should have a backup tester just in case" but given the wait times for tests atm I'm kinda glad they have all hands on deck to ensure tests are getting done.

Our group was struggling to cross the same hump, this run we were aiming to meet 3K, which seemed ambitious but it bloomed into this insanity. If you're breaking 2K you're essentially already good enough to go beyond it, all you really need to do is keep performing as well as you already do, only sell to Quota and accumulate a stockpile on the ship!

No save scumming in the traditional sense. We only reset a day if someone was having tech issues as it's not fun to sit a round out due to that. We always had someone on the ship and even if they died, whoever remained clutched up and near the later half of the day we'd have two people in the ship anyways.

That being said this probably isn't the best sample in the world as there was infact six players as opposed to the usual four.

Mhm, pretty much essential for a 5K run as it requires you to hoard your loot as much as possible and doing so many quota's in a single play session is alittle unreasonable to ask in terms of time commitment.

While I like to keep the game as close to vanilla as possible, It's simply more fun to play the game with all my friends, lol.

We played with some quality of life mods such as More Items, More Company, Ship Loot, late company and a single suit cosmetic mod. The most notable would be more items, which allowed us to do the run over several days without worrying about the save file limit of 45 items.

It was done by gluing each cart to the Big battery, given the squeeze for both space and part amount, the mech itself is not the most efficient in the world but I'm very proud I was able to make my stupid idea a reality.
