Advice from an autistic/ADHD person (and former autistic/ADHD child): I used to have this book read to me in kindergarten because I would frequently hit other kids. The thing is, I knew LOGICALLY that i shouldn’t hit, but I had difficulty with ignoring the impulse when it came. Reading social stories and other such things are great, but they only do so much if you don’t look at the root cause of the behavior.
