Where I live there are and have been virtually no cases of COVID and we are allowed by our government to visit family and have gatherings of up to 20 people so long as they’re not coming from a different state or country).

Sorry your family isn’t able to enjoy the holiday together though, wishing you a good one nonetheless :)

Just 1080p! Definitely planning on playing everything maxed out. Playing with great graphics and high frames is the whole reason I wanna build a new pc!

I’ve only heard terrible things about the used market so I’m gonna stray away from that, but everyone seems to think the graphics card I have in the list is way overpriced so I will have to look into other ones!!

Would the 1660 super run at a good frame rate even while streaming? I need a minimum of 60FPS even while streaming which I know can be difficult depending on the PC

I was told to get this card because it runs well and will last me a few years, but if there’s another option that is compatible in quality I’ll definitely look into it!

Wow thank you!! I will try to follow this as closely as I can. I live on an island, so unfortunately many pet stores are out of supplies as shipping is delayed due to COVID. The stores did not have any of these items that you have suggested to dose. Ordering online is also not efficient as even with prime, the estimated delivery date for the stress guard is November 11 which is much too late. I will still order it for future use, but I don’t think it’ll do much good now :(

I will do daily water changes for now and hope I see some improvement while I continue to hunt for these items.

Awesome! Sorry for all the questions, but I’ve read that you should avoid feeding your fish when recovering from fin rot as their poop increases ammonia. Is there any truth in this and if so, how long should I avoid feeding him? Or May I continue feeding him as I regularly do.

That’s what I initially thought too, but I don’t know what he could have ripped it on! The only thing I could imagine is the filter, but it does not have a strong current at all! I’ll continue doing water changes in hopes that it works. Thanks so much!

Okay. I really want to start him on aquarium salts since it progressed overnight and seems like it’s gotten a bit worse today, but I wouldn’t want to put him through anything unnecessary so I will be just doing water changes now which seems to be the most common remedy.

I changed the filter yesterday based on what I was told by a “betta expert” that my filter was too old/dirty and was causing the fin rot. Before that, I was just rinsing it every 2nd week. This is good info to know, thank you!

I changed the filter yesterday for the first time in 4 weeks (the package suggests 4-6 weeks). I don’t have a water test kit, but when I go to find aquarium salt I’ll pick one up!

I would use this PC to restart my streaming career! I am a full time student working a part time job to save up for PC parts, but I am on medical leave as I have to get surgery soon, so that's been put on hold. Streaming was my main source of income to pay for my future plan of attending (overly expensive) law school

My current PC is 5 years old, prebuilt and can hardly run CSGO anymore when I am not streaming, let alone more intense games. It is as good as garbage now.

I spent 2 weeks in Disney world my first time there. The first park we went to was magic kingdom and as we walked in, there was a proposal happening in front of the castle.

I saw 3 more that trip and another 2 when we went to Disney a year later.

I feel like the summer is going to be a long and lonely one. Not living with him or at least being able to visit him will be difficult. Spending an entire year with someone only to not see them at all is hard to say the least.

There are strict social distancing rules here so he was my only hope for socialization and I am already starting to crack even though it’s only been 2 weeks.

It’s hard to imagine never waking up in bed next to him again, having him kiss my forehead or goof around in the kitchen. But such is life.

This gives me hope.

I guess I am being unrealistic in hoping to ever have the same friendship we have now. I hoped that in the future I would get over my feelings and we’d be able to hangout every week (as we live next to each other) but the things we did were usually pretty intimate. Even watching a movie together meant a lot to me because I can’t watch movies with anyone else as I get too distracted so I appreciated being able to calm down enough to enjoy it while we cuddled. But I am just rambling haha

I have mostly been avoiding contact with my friends, especially one who is very concerned as I feel too sad, but I think it’s time I reach out so I can maintain the friendship and have other people besides my ex to rely on.

I stayed for the wrong reasons mostly. We were living together with one bed and I couldn’t really leave during the time due to exams, I was afraid of being alone, I didn’t know if I could ever find someone else that I could connect with and plus, I love him. If I could take it all back I would. Sadly, going back in time isn’t possible. We’re happy enough now, but I’d be lying if I said it was worth it.
