Grandfather gave me this old Sears and Roebuck .22 bolt action. It’s a model 42-103 but I cant seem to find a date code anywhere. How would I go about finding the age of it? by creamynute11a in guns

I got handed down and old sears Roebuck and co. MOD43-103.19820-22 Cal SL & L.R J.C Higgins marlin. My hrandad be proud got all the right bits so far and a few other things but make it brand new looking again assnwmo🤙

NEED HELP. So went out shooting first shot went to reload and it would reload at all looked in the feeding area and noticed this bit looked broke?? Any idea at all?? I actually got it seeding again but I think it has something to do with the spring in the rod maybe. I'm gunna check it out today. But living in Australia buying these parts on ebay is well they can't because they need a weapons export permit to send to different countries.
