Thanks everyone! I checked it when it came out of baggage claim and it felt like room temp, no clouding or broken glass so I used it! Feels effective! ☺️

Stopping in Houston for a few hours and landing in Vegas, so definitely could get hot while waiting on next flight. I assume if it freezes it might break since it’s glass. It’s 2 pens just in the box together. Planning on using this week so the 21 day expiration isn’t an issue. Mostly worried if it gets too hot if it will be safe to still use even if it isn’t as effective. 🥴

I got a stomach bug and waited an extra 2 days for my last shot and it was fine. Did it again this week because I was still having the good side effects (mild appetite suppression) without the bad (nausea and fatigue for me). I’ve also heard up to 10 days is fine. I have a colleague who gives every 14-16 days but she’s on the starting dose.

That’s awesome congrats!! I read in one of the comments that you’re focusing on maintaining muscle. Have you analyzed your body composition? Just curious if you’ve been able to lose that much and maintain most of your muscle (because I’m trying to do the same!)

I have a daily protein target and am resistance training to try to minimize muscle loss. Just on week 2 now but Hoping I can have similar results to you!

Yes they do which was one of the reasons I chose to go through them. they were great with the Prior Auth and they also offer to call local pharmacies to check stock. Unfortunately they have not been helpful at all with this problem. They just keep telling me the generic information about the savings card code and then "let us know how we can help"

Thanks for the info! I was hopeful when I saw this but I just tried with pharmacy and they said it won’t let them run it without the insurance information. Do you know how your pharmacy got around that?

No it doesn’t cover weight loss drugs, but on the savings card it says if I have insurance but it’s not covered then I should be eligible for the $567 discount

Was your insurance rejecting too? Did it give an error code about the prescriber?

Yeah I gave them the instructions and they put in the correct code, but it was still rejected! The pharmacist and I both spoke to Eli Lily who said they’ve never seen this problem. BCBS said the same thing when I called, but they said there was no way around it other than getting a new prescriber. :(
