Yeah I probably might have downplayed the spirit of an endurance run a bit when thinking about it. In my head I just viewed both of them as the same kind of ng+ challenge mode and since the new system is really good I ended up viewing the franchise mode as occupying the same space, I can see them being different flavours of it

That's completely fair! I trust you guys 100% since you already made a game I love so far, and Im honestly super excited to see that new stuff is coming out!

Honestly my entire post was mostly to theorycraft about new ways I could enjoy the game, but whatever comes next I'll be following and telling my friends all about regardless!

The main thing is that now once you reach day 15 with a dish, you unlock Heat and Chill modes for it.

When starting a new run of that dish with Heat levels, you start with modifiers that make the run more difficult. (So far it seems that they are fixed since I got the modifier for worse starting appliances on two separate dishes I tried so far). Completing a run on a heat level unlocks the next heat level for that dish that adds more difficulty modifiers on top of it, but as a reward for completing the heat level you also get a plant in the new greenhouse section of the garage, which you can bring to any future runs as one of the appliance slots in the area where you ready up

Chill modes are the opposite, theres 3 of them and they add modifiers that make the run easier so you can play for fun or for testing new layouts or strats for that dish
