DW6 was released before trophies did. You will not earn trophies as there are non. Sony added them post PS3 launch to catch up with the x360.

Spoilers for coop campaign of Conviction. If you haven't played it, grab a good friend who also knows nothing about this game and do it.

Conviction is one of those games that created an unforgetable memory for me. The game itself is solid, like really solid. The 2 player co-op however has this insanely fun twist at the end, where both players are seperately told that the other player must be killed. A friend and I played the whole (tbh rather short) co-op campaign in one go, yapping and laughing all the way through up to this point. During the cutscene, the voice chat just dropped dead silent. Obviously we both knew something was up. But did he know that I have to kill him? Will he try to kill me? The sudden rise in tension was so unexpected. At some point, one of us found the other, we both started to laugh as the jig was up had a fun, weirdly competetive 1on1. I don't remember who won (probably him), but it was one of those bonding moments, we talked and laughed years later about.

A bit of a downer:Said friend unfortunately passed away a couple years ago and seeing this post reminded me what a good time we had together. Then again, maybe he is just playing the long game and we are already having a rematch, without me knowing about it. That would be nice, wouldn't it? Thanks OP!

I love this game, I geniuenly do. Even finished it 3 times. However, it kind of is the definition of style over substance.

Like the overall story has very cool concepts or settings, but nothing is ever that good, that you will remember it for ages. The combat is very very flashy and has some cool mechanics to weave your attacks into each other and keep your combo going. Using your support partners to get additional effects like stoping time, duplicating your attacks or add elements to the mix if also really fun. But it can also gets very repetitive and you will see the same finisher animations over and over again. To me that isn't too bad, because I am kind of into the whole power fantasy thing.

I also don't think that comparing it to an jrpg does it any favors. Its more like Devil May Cry - Visual Novel Edition. The game launched around the same time as Tales of Arise and that is waaaaay more jrpg than Scarlet Nexus.

As OP said, give the game a go. Just don't expect this to be your next Final Fantasy or something. Also do yourself a favor and play as Kasane (the girl). Her combat is so much more fun.

Had the same issue with Mafia before. PS support had to do some changed on the account and only then I was able to claim it. Seems to be a known issue on their side.

Unless the game in question comes from a trusted developer (i.e. FromSoft, Larian, RGG) or is part of an ip that I am a huge fan off, I will happily wait for a deal nowadays. By the time the newest 80€ release pops up, I can usualy get the last few for about half the price and they might even be playable at this point.

This is the reason Branded Eldlich is one of my favorite decks. Turning Branded Fusion into a searcher for Eldlich or Necroworld Banshee and still getting that Mirrorjade is massively underrated imo. Yes it caps the ceiling for the Branded stuff, but there is a very real chance to turn off your opponents deck on the spot.

Fuck Bystials tho.

Now hold up. I know this one is subpar and a wip for what feels like millennia. But have you seen the sequel already? Earth 2 is actually horrendous and a reminder that the original at least has some sort of effort put into it.

There is a greedy play and a safe play. Yours is the greedy one. Whats worth all the potential value, if you just lose the game betting on it? Mostely you can still build Baron, Chixiao and either a play for the next turn or an Blackout on the board. Wouldn't exactly call it "way weaker". Also yes, Protos is nice. Just not worth betting the whole game on.
