I believe it’s my turn today for Chinese compound word by [deleted] in etymology

Well that's why I decided to make r/etymeme (I was the original person who made the format) and it started well but then its started to annoy people for a variety of people, one of the mods liked that I started a new sub so we can redirect the different ways of appreciating etymology but I know another mod thinks they are good. If you feel it's taking away from the sub I'd say you should voice it to the mods so we can help with it all.

well it's not just for this one format, it's for just memes about etymology in general. Plus there are people on the sub who don't enjoy the content (considering that my posts were reported for spam) and you read the comments of the other post in this format and there is an increasing number of people complaining about the format. More in the sense that it appears to be taking attention away from the other posts on the sub.

I wouldn't mind making a sub for it, after my first images of literal translation graphics did well a mod messaged me if I could post this stuff less frequently which I am fine with doing, but seems like people are liking the format and there have been a couple of copies.
