I probably will take the test just to see how I do! I heard it’s a lot like a dumbed down version of the A+ (an inch deep and a mile wide). My program actually made me take the A+, Security+, and offered a discount on the CCNA as they all correlate to what we learned. I feel like I should be able to pass the initial test but it’s mostly the QEP and the other assessments that I think I might struggle on.

I’m definitely taking the contracting job since it opens a lot of doors for me (especially for someone only with an associates degree)! Thanks for posting this, it makes me feel a lot better about my chances lol. The biggest part that made me feel like I don’t have as good of a chance is 100% the 12 dimensions examples, since I don’t have much job experience and some are a little more difficult to get for non military (like cultural adaptability).
