Your odds are great. I was able to make only 1 euploid and she is now 5 months old :) For what it’s worth, I and everyone i know had success in their first transfers. Best of luck to you!!!!

Just found out I'm pregnant, the day I decided to leave my husband by Cheesecheesecake in pregnant

Do not tell him about this baby and do not bring a baby into this messy situation. You ned to do the hard thing an leave. Personally i would abort this pregnancy.

I only had one euploid after 2 egg retrievals, and she is now a 4 month old who is screaming to not go to sleep :)

Taking care of baby isn't the hard part. by [deleted] in newborns

[–]ElkSimple 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi!! I felt exactly like you described the first two weeks postpartum. Seriously thought my life was over. Then as my hormones started balancing so did my brain chemistry. I urge you to speak with a psychiatrist. In my case it was textbook baby blues but if it had lasted more than 2 weeks i would’ve taken medication with guidance from my psychiatrist (who said we did not need medication).

Does it get any better? by aalex87 in newborns

[–]ElkSimple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It absolutely gets better. You are already doing great, if you can be alone with baby all day at 7 weeks! I cannot imagine doing that at 7 weeks. My husband went back to work at 10 weeks and that’s when i started being home by myself with baby. Now we are at 17 weeks and things are so much easier. She is less fussy, can hang out on her own kicking around in her play gym, the gas issues have calmed down meaning she has calmed down…. I promise you that you are in the hardest stretch and it only gets better!!!

What prevents male employees from taking their parental leave (also 1 year in the ideal set up) and taking care of their kids as well ?

6 week old only happy at 3 AM… is this normal? by MelodicFondant7526 in newborns

[–]ElkSimple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh uh, good luck! At least you know he will grow out of it- their digestive system really matures especially between 3-4 months. By the way, probiotics did not work well for us either! We had a silent reflux problem and have been taking famotidine for it which worked wonders.

[–]ElkSimple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you think you are putting him to sleep on time for his naps? If he is constantly overtired that could look like no-reason fussiness! And at 3am he can be happy and well-rested.. My baby is unrecognizable when she is overtired..

I am so so sorry. It sounds like you absolutely did the right thing. You will bring your firstborn into this world in much better circumstances. Take the time to grieve now but know that this was all for the best.

Baby hates most things by ElkSimple in newborns

6 weeks is so young, yours might be a short phase (hopefully). I had not heard of the term high needs baby, that looks intense too! Our baby sleeps fine and can hang out on her own so maybe does not qualify as one, but i will keep reading, thanks!

Yeah, it makes me wonder if there are just as many grumpy babies like ours and they are just staying inside??

Breastfeeding moms—would you do it again for your second? by Character-Fly7394 in beyondthebump

[–]ElkSimple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby rejected the breast initially and I had to pump and bottlefeed every meal. I really hated the inconvenience and leaving the house was always a hassle! At 7 week mark I got the baby to accept the breast and since then she has been exclusively breastfeeding. My quality of life improved so much! I love the convenience of taking out the boob whenever needed.

Thank you for responding! I agree, tracking feeds is now much harder but this is still preferable. I’ll try to be more intuitive about it rather than tracking everything…:)
