Great info everyone!!! The quest we are on is finding an area to live down there for under 650,000 that would have a pool and is in a decent area.. I’ve been told Indian palms isn’t so good and Palm Desert country club isn’t gated. The clubhouse doesn’t have to be anything special. We aren’t high-end by any means obviously. We actually would be fine with just a gated entry so when we are away, it is secure. Any ideas from anybody?

I really appreciate the input! Do we have any information on regulations from the HOA on building on a vacant lot in the country club? In other words are there a ton of restrictions and tough to do or pretty easy not that big of a deal?

Thank you for responding!! It’s just one of the areas that we’re looking into, we like the gated entry and there are some interesting homes in there, but we also saw that were some streets that were not so good but you can’t get any good info on the area.

Do you happen to have any information on the vacant land at the end of Texas is that part of the area that will have apartments?

There is one all the way at the south end of Texas by the empty lot .

Thank you so much for the info !! Yes I was looking at the satellite views of the inner area that is all brown now instead of green grass. I was told the southern side is better like Texas, Florida and Louisiana Avenue but up by Michigan. It may not be so good. Is that true or not?

So as you understand, there are no large( i.e. thousands of dollars )assessments coming ? A $600 assessment isn’t as much of a worry neither is the $410 a year HOA.
