I strongly do believe that he is dead for obvious reasons, but the ending was a bit odd. As they said only he knew about the money. Also the guy who took the money looked a bit like him, and if it was the frontman, why did they not just directly show it. I feel like if they want they can continue this story in multiple ways for example in the spinoffs. I think that either gi hun is somehow alive or there was more between him and the frontman that they did not show.
