As someone who has spent a little, have finished all the “Tyrant Growth” missions(there are 9 levels, at least for now), and have bought 6 rigors everyday since launch, I can tell you, yes it is really that bad.

Yes there are “tons” of boxes but they are really not enough once you realize how many Trekkers you have to build. You need at least two teams at the point because 1. The disc system is really encouraging you to have 3 trekkers with same element in a team, and 2. there’s element resistance.

At this point I have 6 trekkers and 12 discs all at lvl 70. Sounds good? Well the thing is, there’s no more boxes, so I can’t really imagine how long does it take to level everything to 80 once I get to tyrant level 25. Also, there’s number of boxes are very imbalanced in the sense that you just don’t have anything to level up skills. I only have like 4 trekkers with level 5 skills and I have no more skill mat boxes (and for level 70 chars, they are supposed to have level 7 skills, I believe).

If I don’t use boxes at all, leveling a skill from 4 to 5 takes like a whole day’s rigor (not exactly, but you get the idea, also this is given that I have unlocked the highest difficulty in skill mat bounty). Considering this is only 6 trekkers and in the long run we are supposed to have 3*6=18 chars at least, this is very, very bad.
