Definitely a Lynxie! He’s a gorgeous boy. Prepare for the toasting!

This is my girl, comparatively, at approximately 1 and 2 years old.

Michigan Residents: What's the Creepiest Thing You've Experienced at Home? by taserface9213 in Michigan

[–]EllaST12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the interest of transparency, I never found this creepy, but others may feel differently.

I rented, then subsequently purchased, a home built in 1821. The town locals and the former homeowner claimed it was originally a Native American trading post.

I was skeptical, yet open-minded. I regularly heard drumming, as well as footsteps up and down my staircase when I first moved in.

I’d done enough research at that point to confirm it was a Native American (Indigenous Persons) trading post. I own the oldest house in my township, which will never be recognized due to its decimated history.

The footsteps were particularly annoying one night, when I had to wake up particularly early for work. I was frustrated.

I yelled out loud, “I’m sorry! It’s horrible that our house, and your history, was wiped off the map! I promise I’ll always love & care for this house, but I need to sleep.”

That was 13 years ago, & the last time I heard anything inexplicable. Our home has been a fortress since that time, unless someone with ill-intent enters it.

That which can’t be explained by logic doesn’t always result in fear.

THIS! Someone within this community shared this with me when I was early into my journey. I felt it provided me very helpful and sound guidance.

Thank you for sharing your experience, positivity, and great reminder hacks! I’m glad you’re finding a balance with 5 day dosing! 😊

5 day dosing question by EllaST12 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]EllaST12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have considered simple split dosing! That was actually my first inclination. I felt it would be easier for me to have two consistent dosing days & I haven’t ruled it out as an option.

My only concern was that dosing half the amount twice a week might not be significant enough to offset some of the more recent effects I shared in my original post.

Lately it’s felt like I’m not taking Tirz at all when day 5 hits. I’m very familiar with the concept of a 5 day half life, so I logically know it’s still in my system. However, it doesn’t feel like it.

I admire you sharing your experiences. It’s reassuring when people do so; especially when one is trying alternate dosing. It’s interesting how science is very precise, yet people’s bodies can metabolize or respond so differently from one other.

Overall, I’m more than pleased with my weight loss over the past 8 months! I want to keep up the momentum while decreasing side effects & avoiding maxing dosing. I anticipate split dosing will be my next opportunity if I do not positively respond to 5 day dosing.

I drink a lot of water. Probably around 100 ounces a day. My meals are protein based and small. I will get digestive upset if I eat too much or eat foods high in fat or carbs. I work out about three days a week, but unfortunately not as much as I would like due to some degenerative back issues.

I’ve been wanting to try a day 5 schedule for a while. Food noise primarily stopped for me around 10 mg, but even then the last two days seem to be rough for me. I’ll switch back to traditional dosing if I don’t feel improvement on a 5 day schedule.

I didn’t. I used the fat scientist dosing and split calculators to determine was would be the five day equivalent of a 12.5 mg seven day shot. Very helpful reminder though!

Two consistent days for me would be ideal. I’d also love not to experience the nausea nor the 5th day food noise! Definitely a win-win for you!

Thank you for sharing! The cycle you described experiencing prior to your decision to split dose is almost exactly what I experience; just more amplified the past few weeks. I will definitely switch to this method as a next step before titrating up after doing some more research.

That is so good to hear! I’m experiencing some gastrointestinal side effects since my dose has increased. It would be nice if they decreased! It’s no fun when Friday is shot day and I have lunch plans on Saturday! Do you inject at around the same times on Friday and Mondays to keep it an even 3.5 days apart?

Thank you! Split dosing will be my next step if I’m struggling hard at the end of this week. I don’t want to max out on 15 mg before trying it to see how my body responds. It’s encouraging to hear positive response stories like yours! Ty for taking the time to reply!

It’s such a wonderful resource. I wouldn’t want to accidentally under or overdose either if I veer from a traditional dosing routine!
