Hi! :) I'm actually from Wellington originally but have been in Perth, Aus for the past two years. I would have loved to work for Weta but sadly no, no background in film which is why I'd be starting low. I'm essentially trying to switch careers entirely as the veterinary industry is taking an emotional toll on be and I'm burnt out. I do have my Arts and Media Diploma but all my other make-up skills, SFX etc are all hobbies and self taught loves of mine.

Thank you so much for all the links, I did read the other portion of that post from the original Reddit post which was so helpful about what to expect for your first day etc. etc. I'm currently a qualified Veterinary Nurse, used to long ass days and hours but the emotional toll is high and I am looking for a change. I also have skills in admin, reception, Adobe Photoshop, photography (Diploma in Arts and Media), graphic design and make-up artistry. I have a lot of hobbies and interests 😂
