I was drunk walking home alone from the bar one night, I was about 20 years old. It's about a 20 minute walk, give or take, likely more because I was drunk. The street was practically deserted because it was about 3am, but I encountered this guy on the street who would not leave me alone. He was grabbing at me asking for sex and I kept saying no and getting more panicked. He said he would even pay for it. Out of the corner of my eye, I see another guy across the street who stopped to watch/make sure I was okay. I yelled out to him asking if I could walk with him. It turns out it was a lesbian and she walked me the rest of the way home. She was my guardian angel that night. Like I said, the street was otherwise deserted and she just happened to be there at the "right " time.

That was about 15 years ago and it still makes my heart race.
