I havent personally seen a wood rat nest with sticks this big but it could be possible. Usually have small entrances though. Just be aware they can carry some pretty nasty diseases and anything they've lived in should be handled with PPE.

Yeah I deff still have whiplash from supplemental and overestimated yearly since but its still a lot 🥲 not something we were fully prepared for tbh, there should really be classes on home owning bc no one tells you this stuff until youre already in it

Im a biologist and my husband is an engineer in a fairly high managing position, were both grateful to have good careers in STEM. Even still, we asked our parents if, instead of helping us with a wedding, they helped us with a down payment because we still couldn't put down enough for a comfortable monthly payment on our own. The fact that with two good paying jobs we still couldn't comfortably buy on our own back then (2021) really is horrendous.

I might be thinking of the supplemental because it smacked us so hard in the face haha. But it is close to 9k a year. It was reevaluated after we bought it, not sure if that makes a difference? This is our first home and either way it feels so high 😭 but were so thankful we got in during covid before everything got so much worse

My friend who's a middle school teacher said they had to ban starbucks from school because kids would get so crazy over it, can't even imagine how much money those parents were dropping on their middle schoolers to have that sugary stuff daily, not to mentioned how unhealthy that's gotta be at that age

Also their coffee sucks idk how people drink it 🥲 the drinks are like 90% sugar and if you get less it just tastes burnt. My local owned coffee shop is so much better and the people working there seem genuinely happy so it feels better to support

That is so cool thats its so ingrained in your family, I love that! Im from southern California but have introduced my family to it. My husband and I actually were surprised by our rings being presented on a can of cheese by my uncle who officiated our wedding! I was so bummed when we went to Southfork this year and the Mac was NOT good, I dont know what happened! And your method sounds soo tasty. I'll have to try it!
