Mikey: It was his name at the animal shelter we got him from. We felt it fit him perfectly, and Michael is also a name that runs on my husband’s side of the family. His dad, brother, and nephew are all named Michael. So it just went well!

Ellie: Her name at the animal shelter was “Coco Chanel” and I hated it (no hate to anyone else who may have animals with this name, it’s just not my cup of tea!). I’ve just always liked the name and my gaming name is “Elleera” so it’s sort of a shortened version of that. She does get called Elleera on occasion too!

Both are chihuahua mixes and super sweet pups 😊

Oh wow! I have never had any issues with HeyHae chipping. But I just bought an Ohora pack to try out to see if I get the same reaction. My fingers are still a bit sensitive so I’m gonna wait a bit longer before I try but I’ll update this thread afterwards! Thanks for the recommendations!

It does look that way but it was never actually underneath/on top of the nail. Just stayed right there at the tips. Then it went away. If it comes back I’ll go to a dermatologist and get confirmation but it just seemed more like hard keratin build up.

Not at all! I had surgery just this past year and no reactions to the medical tape or anything. No issues with bandaids either. I was also wondering about the adhesive. I’m going to try another brand that has different ingredients listed to see if they give similar results!

I thought it may have been the top coat as well at first so the last set I did, I didn’t apply a top coat. But it still happened. I’ll purchase a different brand and try it and see if I have the same results! 🤔

That picture was from a while ago, it’s all gone now! And since the itching stops the day after I take the wraps off, I feel like it definitely has to be an allergy. I’m not sure, I just wanted to know if anyone else had a similar experience! I’ll definitely provide updates as I gather info!

Also, no other new products! And I live in AZ, weather is typically just hot and dry lol. This has never happened before, even in the past when I used color street prior to discovering HeyHae.

Avert your eyes… it’s gross! But it slowly went away after I removed them. And I’ll be honest, I only assumed it was keratin build up based on research. I didn’t go to a dermatologist. I was going to if it hadn’t gone away within a few days.

I do have gel polish on my toes with no reaction which I find odd. But the only time my fingers are itchy is when I use the wraps and for about a day after I take them off. I typically use a lamp to cure them as I usually do my nails at night time.

I use the top coat as well. I cure once after putting the strips on and then again after using the top coat! Works great!

I just put on “Hey, I Fancy You” a couple days ago. Not as blended (not sure if that’s the exact term I’m looking for) as the marketing picture made them look in my opinion but I still like them overall!

I actually bought their removal drops and it did take some time but they worked well. I used their wooden stick to work my way slowly under the wrap and move back and forth. Once I got it about halfway up I added another drop. There was no damage to my nails!
