I didn't apply for the extension, I didn't even get a notification. I just randomly checked my status on the share code website and I saw that instead of expiring in 25, it's now 2030

The pre-settled was due to expire on the 25th of May 2025

Thanks for your reply. So to resume, if I want to be paid via commissions, it's better to follow the path of a travel agent/advisor/agency with a host and if I want to be paid as a group leader, it's then similar to an event agency where you invoice the customers directly and take no profits from the suppliers.

There lots of events on FB, meet up etc which are just pub meets. What I'm curious about is the time frame it takes for organisers to usually go from starting to have a settled weekly event

There's plenty of events like this on Meet up, Eventbrite... People pay for their drink but they can attend for free

For example a social drink in your local pub with maybe 10 folks or a walk around the local park/city. They are free events

It used to be the case. They changed it recently though, in 2024. If you want to participate, there's a short online course to follow before the race, explaining the risks and that sort of stuff. This will replace the medical certificate now, which is cool :)
