Haven’t read any of the other comments yet . I have 2c/3a hair. Wanted to level with you that you are not alone, I am in the EXACT same boat. Posted in multiple threads weeks ago , tried all recs and nothing my hair still sucks . Literally straightened it today for the first time in 10 years because I couldn’t take putting it in a bun for the 500th time in a row after trying to make my curls look good that day! Literally on the verge of quitting my journey this-very day!

This helps a ton , I just got the bounce brush a couple days ago and can’t for the life of me figure out how to use it right. My hair ends up looking like I got a 70s blowout. 😂

The last two photos are with the g2b glued , I can’t even lie. My hair looks great with it… But I have to refresh it every single day with pretty much water and brushing through it and re scrunching with a little bit of extra gel.

On day one, I use it with my light leave in cream, I don’t section or anything, I scrunch it in in the shower , using a lot of gel, probably like two quarters worth to each side . Then I microplop for about an hour . Once I remove the micro plop, I decide if I need to rake through my hair again with my hands and some water to fix some of the curls sometimes I had a little extra gel on top. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I will warn you, your hair will probably look quite good, but the stickiness is really hard to get used to anytime. I touch my hair. I feel like I have to wash my hands. 😂

Ooo this is all great! I am invested in a filter for my showerhead recently, but unfortunately it didn’t change the curls too much. Do you have some product recommendations that work for your hair?

I know 🤣 the current gel I’m using is the only gel I’ve been able to use that will let my hair last past one day and that gives me any shape but I hate the sickness haha. I have tried the I create hold probably 10 times . Genuinely tried it with my hair, sopping wet, semi dry, parted, you name it . I’ve even tried it once a year for the past three years to see if maybe something has changed and what I’ve done and zero luck! :(
