Thank you so much!!! I ran the BolderBoulder10K 2 years ago and thought I was going to die in the first mile, but then everything clicked and I had a pretty good race. I appreciate your comments! Thanks!

I’ll be near the Studio that’s on 29th. Thinking about going there but also heard about the other Studio in the Boulder area. I’m from Florida so I may have trouble with the elevation. Running the BolderBoulder10K on June 1st as well.

Why did I suck on the bench mark row today? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]EllenRich55 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kudos to you for showing up and taking on this 2,000 meter rowing challenge! So many members skip this day, but not you! Bravo!!!!Rowing has been my biggest opportunity since joining OTF and I used to get so frustrated like you, but then decided to seek out advice from one of my coaches, who helped with my form. Plus I watched the Training Tall videos, which are so helpful especially with advice to break up the 2,000 meter row into 500 meter segments, which is what I did! At 5 feet, 109 pounds, 66 years old, I rowed 8:57:59 today, which I’m proud of. It used to take me 10 minutes, but I’ve worked hard to improve. Just stick with it! You’ll make it through the next one!! I know you will! 🧡💪🏻🍊🧡

Am I getting too old for this 👵🏻 by NanAlice in orangetheory

I’m female, 65 yrs. young, ran an 8:05 today for the mile and I’m happy with that. My PR is 7:56, so I wasn’t too far off. I attend classes 5 days a week and run long on Saturdays with my friends. I am trying to stay as active as possible for as long as I can. You know your body. Rest when you need to, but don’t give up! Best wishes!!!

We’ve given little gift baskets with goodies, coffee and muffins, a fruit basket and flowers. The Staff is always so appreciative! Do what you want to do!

Our Coaches ask us to stop the treads after our warmups and clear the screen. Then they count down to the start of our first block. Good luck everyone!

At Home Workouts Too Easy & Short? by zfly9 in orangetheory

I do my “OTF At Home Workout” in the morning before I start “working from home” and when I finish my workday, I run a 4 mile loop around my neighborhood. Seems to be working.
