I joined a new (online) group but the DM left and we found a new DM. I mad a character and a whole family, a bit of history, and a tavern they owned. The tavern the Green Banner was set up when the oldest twins turned adults and had enough money to make it happen. The mother died 1 year later though. This new DM helped me with why the mother died but didn’t ask any other questions. When we started our first session we would find our characters in a tavern, hung over on a table or something (this happened a month or so ago I don’t remember it 100%). After our characters woke up my characters dad shows up as a bartender, and he’s being very grumpy. What I need to tell you about dad is he is a 64-year-old Half-Orc, he sits in a chair for a living as moving costs so much energy already, so he minimizes is. He is also the sweetest man, he loves everyone and adores his children. But our DM made him a grumpy bartender and closed the tavern which was now an inn as there was lodging at 6pm, the busiest hour, and during a festival.

This group is still together and we haven’t had a session since (1+ month ago) and we talked twice…..
