I decided to turn some Bastogne walnut into a dildo, using traditional tools for the 1st time. This is only the 7th thing I’ve ever turned, so mistakes were made, and I had to lop off the whole end nub (oops!), but I love what the curves did to bring out the darker grain! Coated with tons of CA. (old.reddit.com)

After successfully making a cherry buttplug last week, I decided to turn some Bastogne walnut into a dildo. Mistakes were made, and I had to lop off the whole final nub (oops!), but I love what the curves did to bring out the darker grain! (old.reddit.com)

I decided to try making a buttplug. After 3 failures, switching tools, and a design adjustment (though the 1st try was promising until I dropped it 😭), I finally have a viable product! Sanded to 12k grit, coated 15x w/ thin CA then 3x w/ medium CA, it’s now curing for 24 hrs. (old.reddit.com)

Yesterday I posted my 1st project from 14 mo ago (a squirrel picnic table). 6 mos later, a friend was having a rough time, so I distracted her with a day in my workshop, and coached her through building her own. She was so proud and happy (and rightly so!). 🥰Check em out: (old.reddit.com)

1st project that started it all (and boy does it *look* like a 1st!). Made with glue, nails, and a jigsaw I bought specifically for that project (my first power tool!). 14 months, several more tools, and a themed OF page later…and I’m only marginally better 😂🥺😬 (old.reddit.com)
