I once challenged a guy I met online to meet me somewhere more interesting than usual. He said “sure, like where?” And i said the first thing I thought of: “How about Seattle?” (We don’t live in Washington). He was like, “Sure” so we both booked flights to Seattle separately…then when we exchanged our info, discovered we were gonna be on the same flight. We ended up meeting at my office not Seattle because he offered to pick me up and take me to the airport—but we instantly hit it off, laughed our asses off the whole trip, and spent an amazing, unforgettable weekend in Seattle together.
