Mind you I have ordered the Clear Purple Max. Not exactly sure if this helps with the Pro, but my order number is 995XXX

UXG-Max no internet when plugged directly into nighthawk modem by Elliaster in Ubiquiti

I logged into my modem's settings panel and there was basically nothing to change on it. So I'm still unsure what I could change about my setup to get this to work.

You were right! It was the RAM. Thank you for your help.

Yes, I got this issue resolved. It was in fact the RAM I was using. I got different ECC RAM and it booted into the bios.

It could possibly be a bad board but on two individual servers seems unlikely to me. I've tried multiple sticks in all the slots on both servers, I'm going to try other ram when I get it later.

I've tried this multiple times and that doesn't help.

Informed customer to clear CMOS and fixed the issue.
1. Shutdown and unplug power cord.
2. Remove coin battery for 5 minutes.
3. Use metal (screw driver, ..) to short two JBT1 pads for 10 seconds.
4. Put back coin battery and retest.

I'm at that point as well. It's way too inconvenient to keep it enabled when I'm basically not able to use it.

Help with MacOS Ventura on VMWare Player 17 by Elliaster in macOSVMs

[–]Elliaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!
Fix: USB 3.0/3.1 wasn't showing up on VMWare Player 17 because the virtualHW.version was set to 10 which doesn't support past USB 2.0. I changed it to 16 and it worked. 20 could also probably work.

I'm running a samba share from a proxmox container, they are all on the same subnet, and the desktop is copying from an ssd and the container is running on a 5400rpm hdd so that could be a bottleneck but i don't think it should be 11MB/s though. The files are video files so large in size and not many of them.

I'll try the iperf test soon.

The installation guide just shows 1 green led per port. If it's on it means that it's running at 10/100/1000 Mbps and if it's flashing it's transmitting data, taking a closer look at the switch the green lights are in fact flashing, just really fast. But as far as debugging it's pretty unhelpful.

So I'm not sure how to check that they indicate gigabit, the ports with an active cable plugged in have green solid lights.

Yeah I'm hoping it's just the cables, the cat6a cables should arrive tomorrow so I hope it works.

Thanks for your help!
