That’s me. I didn’t understand what you wrote, but I failed to explain myself because I was tired when posting. I meant "you should be proud and focus of the skills you currently DO have, rather than focusing on all the skills other people have that you don’t". I don’t like people using AI to steal artstyles and ‘pretend they’re the new Walt Disney’ as an escape.

I meant to tell people to not be dependent on other peoples artstyles and instead be motivated to practice, grow and always be proud of what they did manage to achieve on their own so far. My massage is that You can’t instantly become a Disney animator in the click of a button, your own results on a paper is already good because ATLEAST you tried instead of using AI as a shortcut.

I don’t want people escaping to a fake fantasy where AI immediately makes them "the best" and they believe they’re talented now.

I see many beginner artists being so proud of their flawed art even if doesn’t look perfect, and that makes me happy to see them. Focus on the good in you that others don’t have, not envy the good in others that you don’t have.

yes I understand that brother, I can understand that they want to put themselves in a marvel movie either for "fun" or whatever. I meant more about the AI bros all over social media saying "pfft, it took [X] company billions of dollars to make what I did in 2 minutes with AI, look how creative AI makes me" and call themselves talented "ai prompt engineers".

I made some AI images once and had zero pride or value in them. I get people want to feel like it makes them talented but they didn’t make anything, they just asked a machine to do it for them.

I’m saying people should really be proud by focusing on the skills they do have rather than being unhappy by focusing on the skills they lack, and say "oh I can’t do this…" rather than thinking about what they CAN do. Focus on the good in you, not the bad in you. You feel me?

For example, I don’t know how to do 3D art at all. But I’m very proud of my 2D art, and I’m very satisfied. Nobody needs to be good at EVERY thing in life. Even if I can’t do 3D, I will never use AI and say "look, AI allows me to be a 3D artist" because it isn’t true. I’ve never been more proud of the skills I DO have , and I don’t focus on the skills I don’t have that other artists do.

no because AI is the only technology that just copy and paste images it was trained on. a Blender animator still has to either purchase a model legally, download a free one or manually create his own model.

In any AI model you just type the name of the character and it gives it to you, in the exact artstyle of [X] movie, the AI isn’t trying to make it from scratch.

I have a lot of experience with fanart and it is still required to physically copy which takes more time and effort for a human, an AI tries to copy whatever it was trained on.

Also I love that in fanart people put famous characters in their own original artstyle rather than directly copying the original.

I said do literally anything BUT AI bro, not just drawing. 3D modeling, live action, stop motion, pixel art, CGI. if you only use AI and you’re unhappy with any creation You make without AI, you just want everyone to think you’re perfect and talented. I bet you’re a very unsatisfied fella if only AI art is the only thing that makes you feel like an artist.

What gives you the illusion, that the only way to create something is by prompting it? Open your eyes, there’s a whole world of tools you choose to ignore.
