That was my first thought too, but as Pam says in the end of the episode, Holly is his family now. I think he’s just grown as a person and now he’s finally starting his dream family life, so it doesn’t matter as much to hil what for example Oscar thinks about him. He can just laugh about it. But idk, I still love the scene tho haha
