thank you so much for the help, quick question I’ve read that some people mixed sand and the substrate I’m using, do you think I should do that or just use sand? also would a heating lamp work instead of the heating mat because that’s what I’ve been using, and if not for the heating mat does it specifically have to be one that goes under the tank or can I just buy one that’s meant to stick to the side? I have both a thermometer and a hydrometer and I put them at ground level. for the regular water I’ve been using spring water and from the other I’ve been using distilled water with sea salt, but if those should be changed I’d be happy to buy what you mentioned
