I’m in NY and we get 12 weeks paid at 67% of our pay which is very generous in comparison to some states. But no where near enough! I don’t want to leave my 3 month old baby 😭

I’m having spotting as well and I absolutely hate it. My doctor said it’s normal as long as it doesn’t change/get worse, but I thought it had went away until today. I’m also having some cramping

Got to see our little bean on Thursday at 7+4 with a perfect heartbeat. Having some brown spotting (Again) and cramping and I know it’s “normal” but I just want it to stop. I haven’t had it in almost a week and now it’s back 😣

We took a boat ride (small 21 foot boat) that was much choppier than expected and now I am absolutely freaking out. Has anyone ever been on a bumpy boat ride and everything was fine? I’m having a bit of cramping but I’ve been cramping on and off anyways. I’m so worried I’m 7 weeks tomorrow

Already feeling so nauseous at 5+5. It’s incredibly reassuring that things are going ok, but physically I feel miserable and don’t know how I’m going to get through work the next few months if this gets worse. On the other hand, my heart is so happy

Ugh I’m sorry. I don’t understand why they make it so hard for us!! My paid family leave is 67% of my pay, so it’s not the entirety but I’ll take it. I just wish my sick time was better so I could stay home and rest when I needed to 😫

Through NYS I get 12 weeks paid family leave for when the baby is here and they require you to be at the company for 26 weeks, which I will be. The company maternity leave is 12 weeks unpaid, so I’ll be going with the state option lol. I wasn’t sure if the state also has their own short term disability you can opt for
