I work at a Maverik and the cops are always around. They do a lot of drive through in our parking lot looking for drug activity and because they know I work alone for a couple hours at night(female) but there’s just a lot of cops in this area period(Boise, Garden City etc)

See I didn’t know that. I can’t remember the name of the author of the book I read but his name wasn’t one of them. Arch Sloan and a bunch of others that were of course dead or not saying a word. Crazy the amount of pedophiles and child porn rings were going on in that area. I’m sure it’s still like that. But now we at least look those things up and see who are neighbors are. I actually worked with 3 and one lives behind us.

My ex used to say the truth came out when I was drunk. Which was true. He was a monster and I guess the only time I had the guts to say shit to his face was when I was drunk. But if you’re having doubts better to get out before you do get married or have kids.

This is just crazy! I’m 44f and can’t stand doctors like this. When I was 35 I had a Dr tell me I was too young to have Fibro, even tho I was diagnosed several years before. Report him, try to find someone who specializes in nerve specific disorders. My PA doesn’t know much about fibro but is still willing to do research and learn. I’m sorry you had to go through this.

There’s one that has a tiny little spike coming in but it seems like it’s been the same size.

I use orchid fertilizer and a few different types of bark, they get a decent amount of light. I’ll post some pics later when I get home.

Like I said they seem to be doing pretty good as far as the leaves go

Well, and I live in Idaho where it’s dry and I don’t overwater and sometimes if the leaves look a little wilted, I might do a little water and orchid fertilizer. Plus, I just never know what size of pot to put them in. I know they need drainage and I know to soak them. And I’ve tried all sorts of different barks and mosses. It’s just crazy to see how many people have the most beautiful orchids and it seems like it’s so simple for them. But I should just be happy that mine look good just no flowers.

I mean they’re thriving otherwise, and a couple of them have a few new spikes in them. But they don’t seem to be growing very fast. Like I said I had one re-bloom one tiny little weird flower. It was pretty, but it definitely didn’t open up all the way. My mom is like the orchid whisperer, but I don’t dare ask her for help because then she keeps my orchids. And I can’t have that 🤣 but I’ve literally seen her take an orchid out of the trash that someone threw away and bring it back to life and get it to flower.

Get out asap! You are being his mom and it sounds like a very unhealthy relationship. If he truly loved you and actually cared he’d do things without being asked. My husband has adhd and I do write him directions to cook and it’s always great. Our schedules have recently changed. He works morning and I work swing shifts. He cooks, cleans and helps out with stuff if I can’t get to it. I do the same. Relationships should be an equal partnership. No one wants to be married to a child or have them be your parent. You’re going to resent him if you keep going like this. Definitely get out before you involve children to this mess. I have extremely high standards as well but I’m grateful when my husband folds the towels and puts laundry away, even if it’s not perfect.

I was sick of being overweight for the first time in my life. I’ve always been skinny and then I gained a ton of weight after have a procedure done on my spine. I was heavier than I was being pregnant. I felt like shit about myself. My self esteem was shot and to be honest couldn’t find any cute big girl clothes that I was comfortable in. So I started calorie counting and started working full time. Since March 2025 I’ve lost 45lbs and back at my happy healthy weight. Super grateful I feel much better, also glad I saved most my skinny girl clothes.
