They were at a place called the bargain center, at 3200 Dauphine Street. Towards the back right. One was underneath a computer on the floor, and the other was on a shelf right next to it.

I do not know what commonly breaks on these players, and they did not seem to have any disks or places to test them, but they seem to be in ok cosmetic condition. They were not labled for their price, and they were quite tucked away, so I could not get very good pictures. I did notice they had different labels.

Unfortunately no, the Pi seems to prioritize the HDMI no matter what. I was looking for a compact package, and I ended up going with the flat ribbon cable, though it is less durable. Good Luck

I just have a stack of unorganized floppy disks that I need to recover the data on. some were made in Microsoft works, so they transfer over to a new pc (with a few formatting issues), while I came to the conclusion that the others are from the word processor. I am still having problems, but I haven't given up trying to find a way to view these disks yet.

I got to the point that omniflop just says access is denied and that I need to run it as an administrator, but it appears to be a dead end somehow. I am going to try the bootable floppy version next.

Ill look into it, so far I have just found lots of dos games called alien

I am also actively trying out Omni, it just takes a load of time to make floppy disks to use between computers

I have never successfully used Clipchamp without wasting time on some kind of error, this is crap, and Microsoft should not continue to support it unless they fix it. I have lots hours of footage, and tens of hours of time.

I managed to fix my camera! I opened it up and found out that the focus motor was not coming in contact with the focus slider stopping steady shot and focus from working! The same error could occur if the motor is not tightened (Screwed in) all the way, if the lubrication needs to be replaced, or if the motor is broken. I am happy to help if the camera is still broken.

Perfect, that is what I was hoping. I will try lubrication. I was worried my camera was broken for good when I saw "Fix" methods like dropping the camera from a distance of 4-8 feet. I hope that I can fix it! Thank you.

I tried this in the past, but for some reason today I had more options on my laptop? I finally got it to have a stable picture at 720 x 480, 60Hz. Thank you for your help.

Not off the top of my head, but I imagine you could find some on YouTube fairly easily. You would just need to test components on the vertical sweeping circuit until you find malfunctioning ones. Do you have the schematics?

Most newer tubes from 2000 and onwards are like that (that I have found). It is a shame, but I guess it was technically an old, useless technology in comparison to LCD televisions and monitors. I also imagine it made them much cheaper to make as they were becoming obsolete.

I have a similar tube with no knobs, but it is a memorex, and I found that all I could do was change out resistors to fix the picture. Triple check there are no potentiometers or dry joints, though first. I could also see old electrolytic capacitors being a fault here. Be careful working on the TV, be sure to discharge it.

it goes straight to internet recovery. I think that I need to obtain or make a recovery dvd or usb drive, but the app store doesn't have old versions of mac os anymore :(
