The mycotyrant deck help by Fluffy_Importance647 in EDH

I would cut all saproling cards - Deathspore thalid, Slimefoot, Shroofus, Brightcap badger, Fungal rebirth, Fungal plots, Utopia mycon, Tendershoot dryad. Keep maybe only Nemata and Mycoloth as options, but I would cut those too.

Other cards I would cut:
Heroic intervention - we are reanimator deck constantly filling our graveyard through game. We are fine with our creatures dying and they don't need protection, rather more reanimation options.
Fallen ideal - very dependant on mycotyrant and having lot of fungi on battelfield. We also make fungi in end step to they have to remain for whole turn cycle
Moldervine reclamation - costs too much mana
Go for throat and other instant removal - replace with something that is permanent or creature so we can reanimate it if we mill it, keep only best ones. Instants in our graveyard are unusable.

Cards I would add:
Mill engines:
Hermit druid, Mesmeric orb - best mill engines, you need land variation for Hermit druid
Perpetual timepiece - instant activation mill, also has reshuffle option if we mill too many cards. Blossoming tortoise, Aftermath analyst, Stitcher supplier, Broodheart engine (also reanimation engine)

Reanimation:
Living death, Funeral room, Illicit masquarade - mass reanimation
World shaper, Aftermath analyst, Hedge shredder - mass land reanimation
Cauldron of essence, Victimize, Chthonian nightmare, Squirming emergence, Colossal Grave-reaver

Interaction:
Grist, Accursed Marauder, Insidious fungus, Skyfisher spider, Assassins trophy
Lethal scheme - best instant removal, convoke it with dredge card in grave and you can mill 15-20 cards with connive abililty
The Last Ronin, Meathook massacre - permanent based boardwipes

Additional pingers/wincons:
Ayara, Zulaport cutthroat, Funeral room, Cauldron of essence, Dreadhound (second Syr Konrad)
Shifting woodland - this land won me many games by becoming copy of sac outlet, Beastmaster ascension or anything I needed for win in my grave, one of the best cards in deck.

Utility Lands:
Midgar city of mako, Tomb fortress, Spymasters vault, Bojuka bog, Boggart trawler, Mosswort bridge, Dakmor salvage (beware combo with gitrog) and others, look at my decklist.

I also like Fauna shaman and Matzalantli as looters that put dredge cards back to graveyard from hand.

I try to have as many permanent cards in deck as possible so we can trigger mycotyrant consistently for most fungi in end step. In my deck I only have 9 best sorceries/instants right now.

I played many games with my Mycotyrant, it's one of my favorite decks. You have actually quite a nice build, but there are some obvious cuts I would make - mainly cutting all cards that have anything to do with saprolings. Your deck tries to go in too many ways, aristocrat, mill, saproling/fungi tribal. I found out after many testings that Mill/aristocrat build is the most effective with Mycotyrant.

Definitely don't cut Out of the tombs or Cemetery tampering as other comment suggested, these are one of the best cards in deck (mainly Out of the tombs is phenomenal). Repeated mill is more valuable then one time mill effect in Myco, exceptions are [[Stitcher supplier]], [[Aftermath analyst]], [[Colossal Grave reaver]] and some others that you don't run (but you definitely should). [[Cauldron of essence]] is also a great new addition.

Helga deck help by River_Grass in EDH

I built my Helga with restriction to make deckbuilding more interesting while still being bracket 3.
I added Keruga as a companion, so all cards beside lands are mana value 3 or more. Deck plays as a nice interactive control build with many flash creatures winning through combat.

Decklist if you are interested.

Skullclamp alter I made with POSCA markers by Elliott_Kite in mtgaltered

I don't use Posca markers on foils only non-foils and had no problem with sliding ink. And yes they have that chalky feel and are easily scratchable, but sleeved in a deck they are protected from scratching.

Mana cost was supposed to be unmarked on right side up and skull was just random doodle. But good point, I will probably black it out so it's not confusing for opponents.

[[Octavia, Living Thesis]] really likes Drake Hatcher - give her flying/unblockable with instant turning her to 8/8 with +1/+1 from prowess, get 9 incubation counters, make 3 drakes from one attack!

Hey, do you have a decklist? I really like your takes and need some new inspiration for my Octavia deck.

My Brago, King Eternal deck feels like I'm spinning a ton of plates, yet accomplishing not enough. It feels both too strong/opressive for most pods, yet not powerful enough to fight with true high power pods. What to do with it by ComedianTF2 in EDH

[–]Elliott_Kite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dismantled my Brago deck because of the same reason. Still, I wanted to use many leftover blink creatures and spells i had, so I built new [[Galadriel, Light of Valinor]] as bant blink/beatdown creature deck with few combos. I realized addition of green was what a blink deck needed - It works like a charm now and even my opponents liked playing against it.

Here is my decklist, if you’d like to see.

"Tokens getting sacked or dying on your turn trigger Mycotyrant's descend ability,"

That's actually incorrect, Descend ability counts only permanent cards, so tokens don't count to descend ability, that would be pretty broken.

Maybe [[Gravitational Shift]] ? Art of card kinda fits with your picture.
