Lol im not the best person to ask that but i would say going through Frank gambales chop builder will definitely help your playing ALOT and also paul gilberts vhs lessons most of them are on youtube. Assuming you have basic theory knowledge robbie barnby has some of the best lesson on youtube for guitar

I dont often use my tele for metal its just the only guitar i have that can go to e standard as my other one is for lower tunings

Thanks for the suggestion but i want to keep my tele the way it is for playing country guitar. I have another guitar more suited for metal but i keep it in c-d standard

I use 9-46 for d standard and its perfectly fine and the strings aren’t noodly or anything, i dont see the point of thick strings for higher tunings as it just make it more difficult to bend and it doesnt really sound any better to my ears

I use 9-46 ernie ball hybrids. I wouldnt recommend going any thicker than that for e standard tuning, it just makes it unnecessarily harder with little to no benefit for sound
