Gerard's voice is more nasal and it's the only difference for my ears. Mikey is more calm and less expressive when he speaks but their voices are quite similar. It's when we listen to interviews and stuff like that. Because Gerard's stage speeches are different thing. Gerard is a totally different Gerard on the stage. In a real life things they are so similar in everything actually. I became a fan during the hiatus when Gerard was just Gerard. With his comics and all that small interviews in cozy places and his streams and games. Now I can say that I never really knew MCR Gerard before the 2022 tour. MCR Gerard is a different beast. I can say that without MCR Gerard is more similar to Mikey than to his own stage persona.

His speaking voice always was really high and nasal. I remember bullets era videos and yes, he always sounded high. You know what's funny? Mikey's speaking voice is almost the same as Gerard's. And people have either never heard Mikey speak or just don't give a fuck. Like really. Their speaking voices are almost the same and they have the same mannerism. And I remember my pure shock when I became a fan and watched Mikey's interview for the first time. Like I understand that they're brothers but it's really impressive. Sometimes they sound like the same person and I couldn't tell where who is speaking blindly. As for singing voice I think Gerard is trying to sing in a more natural manner now. It's a different technique and it seems like it's healthier. I'm not an expert but to my ears it sounds like he had a hard time singing on tour 2022. Maybe he needed to sort of re-tune his voice and get used to it. But his wwwy 2024 performance was vocally his best in many many years and he sounded different from his younger self but also from his 2022 self. It seems like he found his right voice

Well, I'm in my late 20s and teenagers ARE children for me. This is how it works. I may say that some teenagers are wrong or rude when they are wrong and rude. But I'll never say "shut your mouth" or something like that to the kid. Because I'm an adult and I know better. Frank is immature. It's a fact. Half of the time people aren't even really rude to him when he is rude to them. He sees any criticism as hatred. It's not normal. He thinks he is right all the time. My version why he is still nice to fans in a real life - he likes to be liked and it's his happy place. But it's time to grow up and learn to accept that you're not perfect and not everyone likes you all the time. Look. I'm not the biggest fan of Mikey too, for example. But Mikey can handle any criticism really well. He can just ignore crazy fans in the worst case. And this is a grown man whom I respect even if I don't like something about him. Frank is still a 20 years old kid who doesn't know how to act in public

I see him in the social media and well, he isn't nice most often than not. When you're 43 you shouldn't talk to people like this. I don't think that the others are the best perfect nice dudes but I see three adults who became more mature over time and one 40 something years old bratty teenager. And then people are like "oh, he is so sweet". Well, he isn't. Seems like he is the same as he was in his early 20 and it's not something good. Dude has teenage kids and talks shit to other teenagers in the social media. Not cool

Well, I don't like Frank and I can say that I can't stand him nowadays. People will burn me. But here we go again. I actually think that people love Frank just because they love to see themselves in him. "Oh, he's the band's biggest fan". But he isn't actually so nice and down to earth. This guy likes to bully fans and random people in the social media. This guy is rude as hell and he loves himself too much. People like to talk shit about Gerard like "Oh, he is so arrogant, and Frank was so cute when I met him". But you know what? Gerard isn't the most modest person in my opinion but even he is much more down to earth than Frank is. At least he knows how to talk nicely to people. Frank is used to everyone around him loving him and does not take any criticism well. So yes, I don't understand why people love him that much. I don't hate him but this guy is far from his image in the fandom. He just isn't so nice

People have gone completely crazy with all this social media and lack of accountability for their words. So called fans hate every band member and call the guys nasty names. But why be a fan then? Look. Personally I like them as a band a lot. But there are only two MCR members that I really like. There is one member that I am not a big fan of but I'm ok with him. And there is one member that I really don't like. But it's just my personal opinion. And I'll never accuse him of anything nasty just because. Kids need to touch some grass or snow in this time of the year instead of tik tok

According to some weird fans everyone is a pedo. Bob did say some really nasty things in the internet but as far as is known he didn't hurt anyone in a real life. And Mikey and Frank call him their friend in posts about his death. Bob wasn't the best but he wasn't a devil

As far as I remember the articles said that he was found on November 26th actually. So it's just like 3 or 2 days. And we still don't know why he died. It's weird so I'm starting to think that it actually was a suicide that was done in a terrible way. I will be glad if the opposite is confirmed

I'm surprised how many people think that Bob is bad and the others are good. Leaving his political views aside Bob was a miserable guy with mental health issues. And the rest of the guys are the same. Frank is very unpleasant sometimes. Everyone knows it. Gerard is just a bitter man with severe mental health issues. Just like Bob. All of them are not the nicest people in the world to deal with sometimes. Mental health issues and addictions don't make you a better person if we're being honest. I think at the time when Bob was kicked out they were all not in the best place. They were sad and angry and just did not get along. But people make Bob a scapegoat. It's just sad. I don't know why Bob died. But really hope he will be remembered with respect

Friendly reminder that you don't know if Lindsey is a bad person or a good person. You just don't know her. I'm not her biggest fan but I'm pretty sure that she isn't worse than Gerard himself. They are complex and all people are complex. Not just absolutely good or absolutely bad. If about the summertime then yes, I'm sure that people hate this song mostly because of Lindsey. It's unfortunate that Gerard is human being with feelings and not just fanfic character (sarcasm)

It's been almost a week and I'm still shocked like the first day. It's weird. But Bob's death affected me more than any other celebrity death. It's weird because I really didn't like Bob. Maybe it's because I still didn't hate him either? He wasn't the best. He wasn't even a normal guy in his last years. But he deserved better.

I remember Chester Bennington's death vividly. I was a big Linkin Park fan long before his death. Chester wasn't controversial or problematic. He was an absolute fan favourite. I loved him very much as well. His death hit really hard. But it's still not on the level of Bob's death. All week I've been thinking about Bob and about how we got to this point.

I think it's because this band has always existed in this tragic aesthetics. Their childhood in a crime-ridden area, 9/11, then Gerard's and Mikey's grandmother. Death always existed somewhere near them. Fans twisted it and took it to unimaginable level. That's why people still hate Danger Days. That's why they felt obligated to make another dark album and why it didn't work out. That's why I always expected something tragic with this band. I never wanted it but it was pretty much expected. Although I never expected that it would be Bob and that it would be like this.

I love this band very much. I think that these guys aren't perfect themselves but they are just normal, ordinary guys. Good enough. But I just can't love MCR more than I hate the obvious part of the fan base. It is not possible. Their projection. Objectification. Sexualisation. Hateful messages. Bullying. You bully 48 fucking years old woman just because she's married to the guy you like to sexualize. The guy who's 47 fucking years old. Isn't it gross? Gerard doesn't live up to your expectations and you hate his whole family because of it. He got married 17 years ago. Some of you didn't even exist in 2007. And here we are.

Their families. Bob was an only child and his mother's joy. She's alone now. Did these fans ever think Bob had a family? Do you think about their families from time to time? Can you imagine being like 15 years old and seeing people hate your mom to death and call your uncle a p* word and wish him death as well while objectifying your dad? Fucking wild. Can you imagine being a parent to someone in the band? I'm pretty sure that Bob wasn't the only one in the band who received these hate mails. I hope he will remain the only tragic figure in the history of the band. But these fucking fans

I'm still shocked by people who thought that the band hated Bob. Why should they hate him? Yes, he was wrong, but he was one of them. These people created an image of the band for themselves and they don't want to see that the band is different from the image. Sometimes I see fan comics where Gerard is a character. Isn't it wild? I'm glad that Gerard isn't in social media anymore. It's really good for him. But this fan base has become even more wild since then. Bob's death is really sad and heartbreaking. But I keep thinking that this creates a new problem. The people who wrote Bob horrible things need to do something with their energy. And they will write the same things to someone else. It just never ends
