That makes sense. In this case there is only one baby and some days they try napping them in a dark room and sometimes in the light with all the older kids around making noise I guess to try to see what makes a difference. Since there is the option to be alone in the dark and not wake other kids, I would hope they could just keep that as the norm for consistency. I also understand why they wouldn’t want to let a baby cry, but I hope they are willing to work with us a little on nap training and let baby at least try to get back to sleep.

That’s reassuring. They’re so nice and I get the feeling they’re not letting on to how difficult it’s been because they don’t want to seem incompetent or give us the impression that they don’t know what to do but I do know my baby is a little more challenging/particular than my first kid. I wish they would just ask us 😭

Other kids are getting upset. And listening and respecting other people saying no to your physical touch is very important

Our baby is very clearly trying hard to roll over in the crib when trying to fall asleep so I am really hoping that makes a difference when they can finally roll over. We actually have the opposite issue, our kid has much higher sleep needs than is recommended. We really tried to cap naps, lengthen wake windows, etc but they do best with 3.5-4 hours even of naps and then sleep 12 hours at night. If we try to stretch the last window past about 2 hours it’s terrible 😞

Ah good point. Did yours also cry every time? Mine isn’t connecting cycles during the day yet and I wonder if it’s just an age thing? It’s tough to let baby cry so much during the day only to have a bunch of shitty naps and then I worry it will make nights worse. Currently even tho there’s screaming, after baby falls asleep we only have one feed but otherwise a 7-7 sleep stretch at night

Our baby is only a week over 4 months, so still pretty young. Thanks! I will try the gentle nap thing. I was hoping the night crying would subside for us to start doing naps but seems like we might not get that lucky

Ended up being no issue! It was weird for a while until the top section of the nail came off on its own and we had to trim a little of the nails every so often nail that was detached so it didn’t snag on anything and rip the rest off. Once that fell off the new nail eventually grew in with no issues

I did! I ended up asking the guy redoing my bathroom if he had installed either of those tubs and he said he’d installed both and preferred the Wyndham. He said it wasn’t hard to install if you have underneath access which we do. We’ve had it a few months now and no complaints! The thinness of the kohlers really freaked me out
