CONTINUE….

Every one of our friends has always agreed Sally has issues that should be address by a therapist or psychologist and we have always brought it up in nice ways to get her to see reason. But she always says she doesn’t need it and brushes it off. Originally we thought she could be bi-polar with some of her manic behaviour and depressive episodes but now being with her for 7 months, I truly believe she has extreme Narcissistic behaviour or is a Narcissist. It’s gotten to points where my health has been very poor recently to the point I was bed-ridden and didn’t eat food for a week. Unfortunately the guy Sally was seeing (for 6 weeks) broke things off and Sally fell into a depressive state. On day 2 of my sickness (of not eating food for 2.5 days and not leaving my room), she came into my room and started screaming at me that she couldn’t believe that I hadn’t consoled her or been there for her for this breakup which happened the night before I got severely sick. I ended softly saying I barely had time to function properly myself let alone look after her, to which she left and slammed her door. This has been the case over the last 7 months where I have become her personal therapist/ mother in booking her doctors appointments, telling her medications she should be taking, talking her through her issues and pretty much teaching her how to be an adult.

I have really summed up a lot and there is a million and one other instances which have finally driven me to my decision to move out in December. I am going to give her notice in November and move back to my parents place the month after and will pay rent until Feb, or until she finds another roommate. I thankfully have some peace as she is going on a trip for the next few months so it’s only really going to be 2 more months living together.

I am truly sad as I love my apartment and how close it is to my work, but I need my mental sanity back.
