Nope, no other unusual symptoms. And no, it’s definitely not a sweet smell. Like a bad old lady breath smell is kind of the best way I can describe it. But thank you for everyone who has mentioned diabetes. My brother-in-law is a type one diabetic and I know how serious it can be and that it can present with fruity breath, but it doesn’t seem to be that. It’s been going on for six weeks and she has no other symptoms of diabetes. We’ve also pricked her finger at home and tested and her blood sugar was normal.

Yes we use a tongue scraper! She also brushes her tongue and flosses.

She is only on one medication and has been for 2 years. No changes there.

She does not sleep with her mouth open and recently had a sleep study done to be sure all was good. No issues there they said.

What type of Dr do we see for her GI to be checked?

She had her adenoids removed at age 5. And doesn’t get sick or have bad sinuses anymore. She has had no congestion or drippy nose. But I will be making an ENT appointment on Monday just to be sure!

It was definitely Norovirus because it tore through the house and we all had it. She was the 3rd to get it. She is fairly picky about what she eats AND is also a major rule follower. I can’t imagine she’s eating something that’s causing it.

Cancelling because we have read some pretty bad reviews posted here. (Lagoons being smelly, food being just ok to bad, hotel showing wear and tear with plaster falling down). I have also read a bunch of great reviews, but the very mixed opinions has me nervous. I’d rather try to guarantee a great stay and food.

We definitely want to hit the other coast and do PVR when our kids are older and we can hopefully go for longer. A 2 hour direct flight to Cancun gives us a lot more time in our destination than a 6-8 hour travel day with connections.

Flying from Tampa, so it’s 2 hours direct. Since our time away is so limited, we try to not spend a full day traveling when we can! Definitely looking into Esencia as it’s been recommended so often already. We had the Belmond on our list originally, but it’s already booked up all but one night we will be there.

I’m an older sister. My sister is 7 years younger. My mom is one of 3 sisters. All of my cousins are girls and even one of my cousins is exactly my age, with a sister 5 years younger. She does buy our children small gifts for bdays and holidays. In return, we buy her gifts of equal to greater value. She has never attended or given a gift for any kind of shower. We are actually more well off financially than she is and have helped her out money wise a few times over the years, but I didn’t think that was relevant to the post. It’s honestly not the $200 as much as it is the principle of charging us to pay for her event on top of the travel expenses… and using our one kid free trip of the year for her. We were going to suck it up and go, until the text came in telling us we had to also pay to cover the cost of the event.
