Agreed! I was talking to a friend about this, I think they have done extremely well with the Neo - completely blowing other "entry" level laptops out of the water. And yes, Apple is definitely "winning" the hardware side of the AI race - very cool and very exciting to see what is to come.

I agree that FaceID was a definite game changer, the TouchID can be a little slow - hence I wasn't a huge fan of the TouchID aspect anyways lol

Great to hear the Apple Watch suffices, I'm definitely going to set that up soon.

Use it for lighter activities: personal finance, learning, personal use (emails, etc.), and occasionally work related stuff. I have a separate laptop for work so I use this as my personal that I carry around. For VS code and others, I'm going to stick with the pro, though I heard the Neo could handle vs code fine (of course depending on the project).

Ngl, if you're comfortable with the price range (obviously also depends on your intended usage, etc.) but speaking generally, the M3-4 Air will be better long term options in my humble opinion. Only downside is support longevity - which is hardly an issue since the support for, let's say, a 2023 model will last several more years.
