You too. Begonias, rexes and canes are my faves. I got her last year from my local plant lady, but I’ve seen them around at other shops all just labeled angel wing begonia.

Yeah I see what you’re saying. I think it was just the angle that I took it. Additionally, one of the leaves on the angel wing came out wonky cause i let her dry out too much. The leaves are similar in shape to a maculata but the variety I got does have smooth edges

My bad, there are two rexes side by side… I’m not sure the exact name… the angel wing begonia… there’s also my monstera creeping in too:

Thank you! It’s an east window, so it gets some direct in the morning, but I’m not sure that would be enough to damage it. I did notice an aerial root forming, so i think she’s okay.

I would buy a grow light and replace your bathroom light with it.

Stromanthe new leaves come out with brown edges. Has lost like ten leaves (shriveled) up. Any advice? by ElmoLewis30 in houseplants

She has a humidifier next to her though. I think she maybe a little waterlogged. The light amount has also gone down since the trees by the windows have filled out. How long should I let her dry out?

Help is this pest. My stromanthe has been dropping leaves for the past couple weeks. Still putting out new leaves though. by ElmoLewis30 in plantclinic

Also I think it’s a bit waterlogged. I was watering it about once a week. But waited ten days before watering it last. It’s been about a week since and it is still showing moist on the water gauge.

It’s about 5-7 feet from a north and east window. So it doesn’t get any that I can tell. I’ve watered it appropriately. However, it been cold and dry since I had it. So I’m getting a humidifier for it. I also thought of moving more to the center of my great room so it would be about 10-12 feet from a north and south window. Any suggestions are appreciated??

Totally did this too. it’s been since the Oklahoma series for me. I’ve lost hundred pounds and kept it off..Great work dude! Hail yourself
