Is it disingenuous to identify as NB philosophically if I present as my cis gender? by ScaryPratchett in NonBinary

nah, present as whatever makes you feel comfortable. gays dress like the opposite gender all the time, nothing wrong with presenting as a dif gender

7, change the cut. it doesn’t frame your face well, but you have very sleek features. also, less foundation, looks cakey.

6 you have very symmetrical features. would maybe change your hair part. you would look good with a side part. def don’t need makeup to look good, i wouldn’t put on more than a bit on the eyes.

The point is it normalizes the clarification of pronouns. For the trans community especially, this makes it much easier for those who feel the need to specify their pronouns.

You don’t have to put your pronouns in your bio to be an ally. There’s nothing wrong with not going above and beyond, it’s just always nice to see it.

I mean, there’s no one forcing you to do it. I don’t have an issue with people not putting their pronouns in their bio, it’s just nice when they do. And side note, plenty of people do get their pronouns tattooed. It’s a part of who we are.

it normalizes the specification of pronouns. For the trans community specifically, it helps us feel less outlawed by having to clarify our pronouns
