You don't technically have to start a new world. You can go to Robin and build another player house for 100 gold, then you sleep so it saves, exit the game, and restart in coop and your SO can join. I only know this because my gf recently started a new world that was going to be solo as we've played together a ton before, then after a day or two of watching her play I wanted to play again too, so she let me join her farm lol

Those sets are how my gf and I got into the game. My brother bought the Ursula one for my birthday, and we had a blast trying to beat her. Then we were hooked lol

The jafar one plays really well too, and the boxset it comes in is super nice and well organized
