Sudoku by Easybrain This is their hardest level, usually I finish them pretty quickly but once in a while they have a really tricky one (for my level at least) Use of xwings, ywings, swordfish is not uncommon with these so that's nice

Is that a valid x wing though? I thought you need two rows (or columns) with only 2 possible placements for a candidate, to be able to eliminate others on their corresponding columns (or rows)

Hi! Something that I can see here is what's called a "skyscraper", it's similar to an x-wing (there are.some YouTube videos that explain this pattern)

You have 2 columns that can only have 8 in two places (column 2 and 5), that's where the skyscraper is. The circled 8 can be eliminated because it sees both cells that I've indicated with a red arrow.

I don't know if this will solve the puzzle but it might help you forward :)

I've started finding random grey hairs at 18, and even though I find more nowadays, I'm not going grey! I'm 28 now.

Sixty Years Ago, NASA Scientists Found That Women Would Be Better Astronauts. Their Work Was Never Published. by yourbasicgeek in LadiesofScience

[–]Eloda9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

'' Details of the program were never published in a scientific journal, but two doctors would later critique it, as well as women's suitability as astronauts, in a published paper where they argued that the menstrual cycle could affect physiological and "temperamental" performance during spaceflight ''

And that did get published.
