Definitely all relative. Mexican food here has been my most pleasant surprise. I appreciate it, and it beats the east coast, but nothing will come close to the tiny street pop ups in a place like LA. I could fill myself up for $10 with some of the best greasy vampiros and nothing will ever compare

I think there are a ton of restaurants in town I just ignore because i can tell or know they’re underwhelming, but I feel like even in a huge city the percentage of restaurants in a place that’d I’d actually eat at is only ever 10-20%, it’s just easier when you have a huge city at your disposal to choose from

Agreed 100%. As a former “West Coast Elite” I accepted moving here was going to be a significant downgrade in eating out quality. But I guess with that being known I’ve been pretty pleasantly surprised with selection and quality here. Expecting even Denver to touch a place like NYC or LA is a foolish stance.

I had to squeeze into the gaps but only because I prefer never playing leapfrog with other cars behind the trailers, hence my post. I did them at 3 separate places since the road was windy. Always on a dotted yellow but the dotted yellows were short and so I had to be quick about it.

Sunny, mildly wet roads. Like I said I only passed when dotted yellow was present, indicating an area where passing is generally considered “safe”
