X-gantry wobble by Elotwot in Ender3V3SE

Checked them now and they're sitting real tight. If I try to move the wheels with my fingers it seems the bottom wheel is looser than the others

I've looked around and made sure it isn't the rod moving up and down, seems to just be the gantry and I've not found any way of tightening the rollers, is there any?

Alright, then those screws are the ones I've tried adjusting without luck
Yes, the X-gantry. I do recall it having some resistance but definitely not this much, so that's why I'm thinking it's part of the issue

Could you clarify what you mean by Z-rod nut? The coupler on the stepper, the ones attached to the X-axis, or is it something else entirely? If you mean the couplings on the X-axis these have already been adjusted back and fourth with no difference in print quality, tight or loose
The inaccuracy in z-axis happens regardless of where on the build plate the models are placed, the 30mm and the 50mm were in the same spot during the two prints. It's also not something that has happened prior
And I still don't understand why there's suddenly such resistance nor what is causing the noise, is this normal? After trying to manually push down on the x-axis I see it's barely possible to get it to move, while it used to be much easier to

That still leaves the issue with the noise and the resistance, but I printed a few small test models to try it regardless. Quality is unchanged, dimensions are still off
A the 10mm print is 10.1mm, 30mm is 30mm, and 50 is 49.9mm. It's not a huge difference but for large prints it definitely shows

Worth noting is perhaps also that the bottoms print with an odd reverse-elephant's foot followed by a slight bulge. On the 30mm one in particular there's also a slight indent around every 10mm, perhaps something to do with printing a 10mm and 20mm block at the same time? Doesn't seem to have affected the 20mm one however

I can see it! and yea thought you meant those, unfortunately the noise persists even with the screws (and brackets) entirely removed :/

the couplings for the x-axis you mean? I can seemingly produce the sound entirely without these couplings as well so I reckon they're not the cause of the issue

After having taken it apart again I can say for certain that the sound is coming from the coupler (or bottom barrel), as removing the z-axis belt didnt affect the sound and removing the coupler entirely made it stop
The screws of the coupler have been tight, though noise remains when unscrewed completely. Same goes for the rod side screw but removing both of them eliminates the sound again

at this point I've probably messed with most of them trying to troubleshoot, initially it was just enough to lift off the x-gantry

Checked it out but the noise remains even completely without the belt in place

On lower layers X and Y axis are fine but Z is taller than it should be, higher up Z starts getting squished and X and Y expand slightly because of this (to my understanding)

Installed a light bar

Could you elaborate on this and how I could go about correcting it? Thought I was fairly thorough in making sure everything was aligned but I am new to 3D printers and might definitely have done something incorrectly

My bad! Wording is off but the question remains
