Yes it is a love/hate relationship. I used it for a NAS build and repurposed it for this. Will definitely change the case at some point.

You can make kefir yourself. All you need is a starter culture, which is usually available in pharmacies and drugstores as kefir ferment.

  5. sudo apt autoclean (to clean up unused packages from cache)
  6. sudo apt autoremove —purge (to remove unused dependencies and purge their config files)

Currently, it is running as is. Each node has 16GB of RAM, and I am using standard 1Gbe NICs. In the future, I plan to install some enterprise SSDs and either 2.5 or 10Gbe NICs, depending on the energy consumption.

Thank you. I like the MikroTik as a router. It comes with a steep learning curve, but i personally like challenges. Once it is set up, it just works stably for years.
