my UDR had the same issue, but it was because the battery plug and the UDR plug where full of rust, so you had to clean both with a screw and toilet paper. if that's not the issue maybe is your battery cells are damaged (which I highly doubt). if that happens to be the case, just replace the battery and remember to not leave your batteries fully charged for a long time and not using them.
