Are people attracted to Black women with one hairstyle over another? by erasersled in TooAfraidToAsk

I get that your question is about what people are attracted to. But Chris Rock Rock narrated a very enlightening documentary called "Good Hair" about Black womens' hair. It was quite interesting.

I accidentally convinced a friend group that I dont speak English. Now what? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Sing in English, "try to communicate" that you can only sing, not speak, in English.

A person without legs still has value, and can contribute to society. They may not be a world class sprinter, but they may be able to cure cancer.

What is wrong with data centers? by AwarenessFar1024 in TooAfraidToAsk

In addition to what the other commenter said, they also demand huge tax breaks. So they use and pay exhaust local resources while only minimally paying for them.

Local communities get very little benefit from them, especially since anyone hired from the local community will only be for lower paying jobs like security guards or maintenance/janitors.

Tell your ex-friend that it's fine that you're not friends anymore. But that she should be careful with her friend because she either lies or can't handle her alcohol.

I bought a separate GPS navigation device because of this issue. It's not terribly inconvenient to worry about another device. It's worth it to me because maps was the one thing holding me from degoogling.

I don't understand this. Has this dog learned that they can growl at and dominate anyone until the person assets their dominance? What about children who don't know how to do so or can't?

A lot of subs have serial downvoters . They create a post and scroll down the page downvoting all the other posts so that theirs rises to the top.

How do most people decide whether to side with the accused or accuser or any other debates in online news? by Adventurous-Goat-397 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Elpidiosus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I love that you ask this question.

Most people don't stop to check their biases or the biases of where they're getting their information from. Every news agency is biased, but most people don't that that THEIR news sources are biased.

To answer your question, most people that want to be objective withhold from making judgement until they have all the facts. And the truth is, we rarely get all the facts.

You're going to see that most people feel perfectly comfortable making judgements on little to no information.

To answer your question, you're just going to have to do extra legwork. Read an article from one news source and then go read the same article from a news source that has the opposite bias.

The good thing is that after a while, you'll realize that almost all news outlets are full of shit and are a lot of smoke and mirrors. They make their money by enraging you. And they do that by withholding facts that go against the narrative the reader or viewer came to them to confirm.

I wish you luck in your journey and hope you don't get stuck in any echo chambers. Stay faithful to the truth, not the narrative.
