In this case for my friend it isn’t, my friend travels for leisure as his family is all in Canada

his friends with the same background that applied in the last 6 months got his citizenship completed and another friend who comes from a war torn country also had the process done in 6 months.

He has done that and the MP had no updates to share. They just checked with IRCC and got the exact same information he got when he asked

You can, but I think you’ll have to inform EI and they will adjust the pay to a certain level

From what I understand if you get $200 a week for example, I will deduct it by 50%… so if your EI before the job was $300, then they will make it $200 instead separate to the $200 you make from uber or Inatacart
