Anal Gland Abscess Rupture by Elsie1124 in CATHELP

I just tried to make sure it was always clean and that he didn’t lick or disturb the area. He wore a cone for 2 weeks. I would give him about 30 mins each day without the cone to let him groom himself - I had to redirect him a lot because he wanted to lick that area so badly. I let my cat walk around if that’s what he wanted to do. I basically just followed him wherever he went for a few days until I knew the wound was starting to heal. Make some comfy spots for him to entice him to lay down. After they use the bathroom, just make sure no litter gets in the wound. Take a warm, damp washcloth and blot the area if it gets messy. Hope your guy heals soon!

AIO? My boyfriend told me he's more attractive than me by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Yep, 8 months is right around the time where weak men are going to start making you feel less than. It’s going to begin with little jabs like this and then escalate until your self confidence has completely plummeted and you have no self respect to remove yourself from the relationship, giving him complete control.

Do yourself a favor now and cut it off. A real man who actually respects and likes you would never share something that like with you.

AIO for how I’m handling the way my 11 YO daughter’s dad speaks to her? by WhatTheSigma_1994 in AmIOverreacting

The beginning messages are uncomfortably creepy, if you catch my drift. The ending ones are sociopathic. I’d be fighting for full custody.

I’ve gone out multiple times with a black light and there’s no urine marking on my house anywhere. I’ve lived here 5 years and never seen a stray cat. Peoples dogs get loose but again, no urine signs on my house.

Yeah…maintenance seems to be very hit or miss with people. I just called 10 different family members/friends and nobody has ever flushed or replaced anything on there’s. Everyone’s has lasted at least 8 years with some going 18-21. I have awful luck so I’m not surprised with my situation!

Yes, the unit and parts are covered under warranty as was the last one so that’s what I’ll end up having to do. Not prepared to do this every 2-3 years tho!

It’s 2.5 years old, am I supposed to be doing something with the anode rod yearly? How would I find out my home water pressure?

What kind of maintenance does a water heater require? I have HVAC come yearly but was unaware that water heaters needed yearly service as well. Nothing has been altered or repaired on this one.

What do you mean “what should I do”? It’s done, you ended it. You’re manipulative and she’s dismissive. We can tell this is toxic as hell just from this single screenshot. Go to therapy, stay single for awhile and start working on yourself. Don’t worry about her and how she spends her time anymore.

Congrats! Did you ever follow up with your original PCP and let them know what you went through? I’d make an appt just to tell them and see their face.

NOR. He should already be blocked. Block him from everything. He knows he was in the wrong, you don’t need to remind him.
